My job description for this position is more dealing with more support for the other worker. So we deal with ventilation and ac units on the boat such as changing out filters and bringing in ventilation and air for the welders and painter. We also deal with lighting on the boat such as changing out battery and supporting lights for the spaces that don’t got lights.

• Assisted in preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed
• Learned to operate various painting tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Supported team in applying paint with brushes, rollers, or sprayers according to specifications
• Collaborated with colleagues to maintain organized workspaces and adhere to safety protocols
• Operated power sprayers and hand tools to prepare and paint large areas.
• I also did some burning with a torch and stick welding.
• So with the stick welding we did a lots of tac welding and building things and reading blue prints.
