Still within the same warehouse for the same company, Shutterfly - I was asked to fill a seasonal roll for a seasonal department, the department that I broke the record number for production produced in a day as a temp operator (the work history below this one titled machine operator)

Cards department only had volume during the seasons starting from Halloween all the way to-New Years - and tremendous volume during christmas time, as we were known for our christmas cards and photo gifts.

  • During this time my roll as a supervisor - what Shutterfly called lead: was to train all new employees and oversee all operations in my department.
  • Took inventory every morning and end of shift and documented all used products in real at time as soon as it was taken off a shelf or a new pallet was ordered.
  • Made sure all operators had all the tools, proper ppe and essentials to complete all tasks I assigned them.
  • Calculated efficiency hours and scheduled operators based on needs and volume, depending on what production goals the manager required to hit that day.
  • Moved labor around based on needs and volume and worked with other departments in need.

  • As the finishing lead my sole purpose is to ship all UC prints and train people on everything shipping, make sure they are doing everything required for shipping out our products.
