I worked as a STNA for about 5 years in nursing homes. I enjoyed the job itself taking care of residents or just talking to them. I had recently obtained my phlebotomy license because I wanted to try something different. I enjoyed the class learning about phlebotomy and felt confident drawing blood on my classmates.
As a STNA i assisted residents with ADLs such as bathing, feeding, clothing, oral care and grooming. As well as charting on their ADLs and intakes/outputs.
