Kaiser Permanente Summer 2017
• Paid internship in gastroenterology department at Rock Creek location in Lafayette, CO. Spent the summer working on several research projects which mainly included calling patients post-procedure and collecting survey data, as well as help prepare beds in the recovery are, stock supplies, track procedure times, and data entry. I also had opportunities to shadow healthcare providers in other Kaiser departments.

MedAdvance 2015 Cohort
• Interned for Scientific Education and Research Institute in Thornton, CO. Helped teach anatomy courses for high school students, shadowed in the anatomy lab and participated in dissections. Collaborated with fellow interns on several projects including a math and science camp for middle school students on Pine Ridge Reservation in Kyle, SD, a Spooky Science event in partnership with the organization Stepping Stones, and providing wellness training at a women's shelter in downtown Denver.
