*Closely following the lesson plans left by absent classroom teacher while simultaneously discovering my own teaching style.

* Approaching each day with a positive attitude in order to encourage students and allowing them to feel comfortable with me.

*Multitasking as there are always many tasks to be completed: preparing buffets, taking orders, mixing drinks, cleaning, stocking the bar, polishing dishes, folding silverware, collecting payments, responding to the requests of guests.

*Memorizing approximately 50 menu items and making suggestions based off of customer's food palates.

*Having the endurance to stay standing and active while also sporting a positive attitude and smile for workdays that can last anywhere from 4-14 hours.

*Training new employees and answering questions so that they feel prepared to begin working.
