Assists the Finance Manager providing support for the Department and 11 clinical divisions with 95+ faculty, 183 staff, and an annual budget exceeding $73M in a matrix organization including, MCV Physicians, MCV Hospital, and CHOR Foundations.

• Reconciles an average of 400 monthly financial transactions in excel
• Gathers an average of 500 expense reports monthly, organizes, and distributes to faculty and staff
• Research unidentified charges and follows through to resolves discrepancies
• Creates and mails invoices to vendors and other University units for services provided
• Coordinates executive communications such as conducting calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with clients
• Reorganized shared drive for maximum efficiency and effective storage of data and files.

• Support to international Students with English language abilities through oral communication and sharing of cultural knowledge
• Strengthened my interpersonal communication skills with people of diverse backgrounds.

• Serves as the main point of contact and information within and outside the organization
• Helps recruit and interview new board members and general body members
• Recommended and helped implement the idea of a Fun-Day OFF, which is essentially a selected day for all FMA members and board to social and engage in various interactive activities on campus and outside campus.
