Responsibilities:
Provided assessments, treatments, psychotherapy, case management, and referrals to a broad range of clients, including those who were severely mentally ill and those dealing with adjustment issues, Police Officers, their spouses, children and family members in their household.
Provided group therapy and treatment to clients in different ranges of age from young children, adolescents, young adults, and the elderly.
Provided support, awareness training, and education to families, spouses of police officers.
Provided counseling to police officers and security personnel who were being deployed in peace-keeping operations and after their return from their peace-keeping operations.
Provided case management services and crisis intervention as needed to clients.

Interviewed clients to obtain information concerning social history, treatment, and other
pertinent information.
Planned and administered therapeutic treatment, behavior modification, and stress management therapy to assist clients in developing/displaying appropriate behaviors.
Clinically evaluated patients to detect indications of abnormal physical or mental behavior.
Reviewed results of psychological evaluations and evaluations from community providers to
assess client needs.
Changed method and degree of therapy when indicated by client reactions and needs.
Discussed progress toward goals and objectives, such as medication regimen, family
relationships, educational programs, social development, discharge plans or other behavioral problems, with clients.
Responsible for carrying a clinical caseload, either online via secured Sierra Police Compliant Telehealth platform or face to face at our organization, while maintaining required
productivity level as detailed by the Clinical Director.
Consulted external senior police officers concerning treatment plans and for coordination of
care as required.
Maintained regular contact with other officers and professionals regarding clients progress in
the therapeutic treatment milieu through phone calls, letters, and/or monthly
reporting. Referred police officers to supportive services fort treatment and counseling.
