- Proper management to seizing patient according to protocol and doctors’ orders. Administration narcotic and psychotropic medications accordingly.
- Preparation and administration of regular, narcotic and psychotropic medications per-orem, enteral, epidural and intravenous. Also, assisting doctors in administering intrathecal medications.
- Preparation and administration of bloods and other blood product, intravenous Immune globulin and gene therapy (Zolgensma).
- Taking laboratory samples like bloods, nasal swabs and wound swabs and sending them to laboratory.
- Preparation of patients for upcoming and or schedule diagnostic tests, procedures and operations.
- Sends patients safely to operating rooms, diagnostic areas and clinics.
- Patient centered care planning and health education upon and before discharge.
- Works together with allied health such as physical therapists, occupational therapist, speech language pathologist and etc. to ensure patient centered approach towards rehabilitation and wellbeing.
- Health education to patients and family members of discharge plan, follow ups and proper medication regimen.
- Refer to physicians any abnormal laboratory results, change in mental status, untoward reaction to medications and procedures.
