  • Proper management to seizing patient according to protocol and doctors’ orders. Administration narcotic and psychotropic medications accordingly.
  • Preparation and administration of regular, narcotic and psychotropic medications per-orem, enteral, epidural and intravenous. Also, assisting doctors in administering intrathecal medications.
  • Preparation and administration of bloods and other blood product, intravenous Immune globulin and gene therapy (Zolgensma).
  • Taking laboratory samples like bloods, nasal swabs and wound swabs and sending them to laboratory.
  • Preparation of patients for upcoming and or schedule diagnostic tests, procedures and operations.
  • Sends patients safely to operating rooms, diagnostic areas and clinics.
  • Patient centered care planning and health education upon and before discharge.
  • Works together with allied health such as physical therapists, occupational therapist, speech language pathologist and etc. to ensure patient centered approach towards rehabilitation and wellbeing.
  • Health education to patients and family members of discharge plan, follow ups and proper medication regimen.
  • Refer to physicians any abnormal laboratory results, change in mental status, untoward reaction to medications and procedures.
  • Assist physicians in ward rounds, medical treatment and procedures like lumbar puncture, collecting CSF sample from EVD, wound dressing and etc.
