Over the course of my six years as a Boy Scout, I learned many important qualities to live by in life, most importantly, leadership. From my second year in scouts I was always placed in some sort of leadership position within the troop which helped me grow as a leader and grow as a person. I made many friends along the journey many of which I still speak to this day. Then when the time came for my Eagle Project, I had developed all the skills needed to lead my troop to serve the community with my project. And finally, when I joined the Eagle brotherhood, it was one of my most cherished days because all the work and lessons came down this and I accomplished it.
