Summary

I've worked as a substitute teacher, daycare worker, and summer camp counselor. I have learned from the start that a good solid foundation of learning must be built and continued through a young child's life. Working in these areas has shown me that I can do anything to help any child whenever the need arises. These areas of work also built into my knowledge of what it means to work as a team to get things done in the quickest yet safest way possible. I have worked with and taught children since the age of 16 and have loved it ever since.

Work History

Camp Skyline Ranch for Girls

Sally Johnson
05.2024 - 08.2024
  • Summer camps work in all different ways
  • Some are different from each other culturally
  • The main thing that you come out with is knowing how you work alongside a diverse range of people
  • Camp allows you to work in areas you would never see yourself working and in doing those things you slowly begin to come out of your comfort zone.
  • Was head lifeguard. With this huge responsibility I was in charge of making sure every camper had fun all while being safe while swimming. In order for this to work properly I made sure each lifeguard and lookout that I was in charge of was doing their job in watching each girl and keeping an eye out for anything that seemed out of the ordinary.
