  • As a Data Scientist, responsible for designing and delivering multiple NLP/ML projects – NLP system to analyze OTC agreements. This enabled UBS to explore over 6,000 legal documents. Technology: LangChain, OpenAI – ChatGPT 4.0
  • Led the product delivery roadmap of a full suite of complex funding desk toolsets such as managing HQLA, Secured Funding Tracker, Unencumbered collateral reporting, Collateral Sources & Uses, and Collateral Lineage. These projects were key to managing the firm's liquidity pool.
  • As a Product Manager, played a vital role in the implementation of new OTC Uncleared Swaps Margin Rules and as part of the core Program delivery team led the front-to-back functional design across multiple workstreams such as Core Trading Services, Margin Services, Custodian & Collateral Booking.
  • Product delivery of Collateral End-to-End Program which included several trade-booking functionalities such as New Transaction Types, Third Party, Tri-Party and Non-Traditional Collateral Booking.

  • Municipals Desk
  • Framed and executed technology strategy for the Munis and Money Market businesses – Onboarding Municipal trades and positions onto a uniform risk infrastructure (SecDB). This enabled consistent pricing and generation of daily P&L reporting for the desk across Municipal short-term and long-term Muni products.
  • Highly visible to the desk during the 2008 Financial crisis, ensured continued support for products such as ARS (Auction Rate Securities) and VRDN (Variable Rate Demand Note). Delivered critical enhancements under tight timelines.
  • Spearheaded development of VRDN pricing application to support on-demand tiering of CUSIPS. This tool replaced legacy pricing applications and delivered over 50% efficiency gains to the desk.
  • Delivered technology platform to launch product for Municipals desk to trade Muni single name & Index trading.
  • Repo and Global Liquid Products (GLP) Desk
  • Engaged senior Corporate Treasury managers to frame technology strategy and implementation of a comprehensive liquidity metrics portal that offered reports such as the size of secured funding, funding ladder, unsecured funding, and unfundable metrics report. These reports were used by Corporate Treasury and for NY Fed reporting purposes. This project streamlined liquidity reporting by 90% and eliminated manually generated spreadsheet reports.
  • Led various collateral management initiatives such as streamlining and full automation of collateral pledged and received flows, and providing a unified global view of collateral across business silos.
  • Mortgage Derivatives Desk
  • Automated credit event processing for Mortgage derivatives (E.g. ABX.HE). This led to 50% overhead reduction and efficiency gains for Operations.
  • Banking Technology
  • Moved to Bangalore to set up offshore Goldman Sachs India Banking Technology organization.
  • Built and successfully launched Investment Banking Technology organization in Bangalore, took the organization from 0 to 35 head count. As the first employee of the team, successfully managed vendors, hiring, training of new employees, and managed multiple development teams. This resulted in annual savings of approx. $5 million.
  • Managed diverse set of teams - MIS Reporting (reports such as Banker efficiency, Revenue by Sectors, Clients, and Regions), QA, Market data (E.g. Pricing, Company profile and Ratings data), and application development teams (E.g. Fairness Opinion app)
