* Responsible for Daily Patrols throughout the hospital maintaining the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
*Observe and report any suspicious activities deemed harmful to Sarasota Memorial Hospital and it's staff and patients.
*Responsible and do reports of any incident and events that have occurred.
*Transport Patients to other facilities making sure of their safety and taking care of necessary precautions, and doing it in a timely matter.
*Implementing the standards of procedures in safety and enforcing hospital policies.
*Assisting other Law Enforcement
*Implement Patient and guest satisfaction with a positive atmosphere and along with their safety.
* Assisting with patient belongings, valuables, and medications.
* Responsible for lunch schedules and delegating attendance.
*Enforce Hospital policies and procedures and maintaining the safety of it's patients, staff, and visitors.
*Making sure Transporters follow hospital protocol in picking up patients and bringing them to testing sites in a timely manner.
*Observe, report, and write up any suspicious activities that deemed harmful to patients.
*Assist in transporting linens throughout the entire hospital.
*Build rapport with nursing staff and delegate what needs to be done in a safe and maintaining a positive work environment for everyone.
*Ensuring that Transporters are careful in keeping patient's belongings, valuables, and transporting them in a safe and timely manner.
*Responsible in making sure Transporters follow HIPPA and other procedures and policies deemed necessary.
