Work History

Machine Learning Intern

Musculoskeletal Biology Lab SLU

  • Conducted data modeling and performance of single-cell gene pools using data visualizations.
  • Differentiating gene variants using the UMAP technique, This statistical algorithm allows researchers to lower dimensions in order to retain important information; specifically gene expressions' included in 12 cell clusters.
  • Isolating Gene variants CPED1, PAX7A and WNT16 during embryonic stage to determine percentage of genes expressed and the average gene expression using public data such as the 'Sci-RNA Sequence' library.

Student Researcher

UW Medicine SLU
  • Utilized R programming software to perform descriptive and multivariate statistical analysis such as Linear Regression and Cross Validation
  • Collected, organized and imputed data into R Software using Lab data from Zebra fish studies.
  • Collaborated with Zebra Fish Researchers to develop data-sets for Skeletal Models.
  • Assisted in writing R scripts in order to differentiate genetic variants used in phenomenons such as limb regeneration, figuring out the purpose of a gene such as WNT16.
