As the Admissions Coordinator, I was in charge of the process of enrolling students in the university, providing them with guidance on the leveling course. In addition, I organized and adapted the classrooms, selecting and evaluating the appropriate teachers to teach the subjects.
On the first day of classes, I coordinated the preparation of the auditorium to receive students and teachers, introducing the academic team, and welcoming the new students. I also kept a record of students and their grades, managing the official approval documentation according to the academic results. Additionally, I managed the teachers' payments and supervised the administrative aspects related to academic management.
Collaborated with multidisciplinary team members to develop appropriate treatment plans for clients.
As a professor at the Faculty of Psychological Sciences at the University of Guayaquil, I taught Psychology classes to first- and second-year students, ensuring rigorous and professional academic teaching. I maintained constant interaction with students, fostering a participatory learning environment aligned with the curriculum. I evaluated student performance, delivering grades and reports within the established deadlines. In addition, I attended training sessions organized by the university to strengthen my teaching skills. My work included developing effective pedagogical strategies to facilitate the understanding of key psychological concepts. I also promoted critical thinking and reflective analysis in my students.
As a Clinical Psychologist, I provided care to young students from different national schools who had problems with the consumption of illicit substances. Psychological consultations were carried out with the obligatory presence of their parents, an essential requirement for students to be able to continue with their education. My work consisted of evaluating their emotional and behavioral state, designing intervention strategies adapted to their individual needs. I worked on the prevention and treatment of substance use, promoting the development of coping skills and resilience. In addition, I guided parents in the process of accompanying and supporting their children. I implemented evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote positive changes in their psychological well-being. I also collaborated with educational institutions to reinforce prevention and follow-up programs.
