My passion for becoming a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) began when I was a young girl and was diagnosed with a speech disorder. Thankfully, with the help of excellent speech therapists, I was able to overcome this impediment.
Throughout high-school, my interest in the field continued to grow, as I became more and more active in the Best Buddies program and was elected president my senior year. It was at that point that I realized that Speech Language Pathology was more than just an interest, but a true passion.
I applied and was accepted into Duquesne University's SLP program. I am now entering my third year of education, and have consistently achieved the Dean's List.
I also love the arts, and competitively danced all throughout high-school. I'm also active in my sorority, where I hold a position on the Programs Council where I am the planner of events.

I have been working with children since I was a an early teenager. I have babysat for multiple families and have experience with a variety of children, from infants to pre-teens.
