Marae Kesseler

My job at The Village Farm is having the responsibility of keeping up with all of the horses water tubs in the fields. It is my job to make sure they stay clean from algae and are filled so the horses do not colic and get sick. One of my other jobs at this farm is putting horses on a hot walker so they stay in shape.

At Northampton I cater mostly weddings, baby showers, and wedding showers. My work includes showing up one to two hours before an event begins to set up the room. During the event my work includes handing out appetizers during cocktail hour, bussing the room the entire night, serving the three course meal, keeping up with the guests water glasses all night, and setting the tables up again to look nice for dessert. At the end of my shift, my work includes getting the room set for the next event.
