Marc Bachman

I am the Head Football Coach at Jefferson High School in Bloomington, MN. I was hired at Jefferson as Defensive Coordinator in 2022. In 2024 I was named the 5th Head Football Coach in Jefferson history. Prior to Jefferson, I served as assistant football coach at Gustavus Adolphus College for 10 years while also serving as an assistant Girl's Hockey and Boys and Girls Track coach at Saint Peter High School. I have also served as the Head Football Coach at Mankato Loyola High School and Saint Peter High School. Prior to coming to Saint Peter I was an assistant football coach at Augsburg College and Eden Prairie High School. I served as Strength/Agility/Quickness Coach at all of these stops.

I have served the Saint Peter Public Schools as the Operations and Maintenance Supervisor since 2008. The district includes six buildings totaling 550,305 square feet and 114.8 acres. In 2013 I was a part of a facility use study which evolved into the schematic design and design development of the project before managing the building of a new 183,533 square foot high school, 60 new acres of athletic facilities and remodeling in the existing buildings within the district. My current responsibilities include hiring, training and management of all custodial and maintenance personnel, management and execution of the district’s health and safety programs, development and execution of the district’s long term facilities maintenance plan including UFARS coding of all department expenditures and writing RFPs for smaller scale district projects.

In addition to teaching all areas of social studies I also taught classes of reading comprehension, tv/radio production, community internships, life skills and strength and conditioning.
