  • My duties included but weren’t limited to supervising a railroad section gang/contractor crew daily on BNSF tracks, insuring FRA regulations were met, performing track inspections per FRA standards, inspecting and maintaining different types of large commercial vehicles and both on and off track equipment, diagnosing problems with hydraulic systems and tools and insuring they were in good working order or repaired, use of hydraulic tools and machines in performance of track repair, performing detailed job briefings, insuring safety protocols were followed by anyone in the area, insuring payroll was put in correctly for myself and my workers, keeping accurate logs of track repairs and insuring they were put into the computer system correctly, always completing continuous education for qualifications and training, speaking with train dispatchers about track conditions, and providing protection for work crews fouling tracks
  • I worked in numerous roles overseeing the installation of ribbon rail, installation of ties, and undercutting/surfacing operations
