I have been in the oilfield industry, mostly on the Contractors side since 1982 working all positions from floor hand up to Drilling Superintendent to 2015. I have been a Driller and Manager/Supt. on compound rigs, mechanical rigs, SCR Rigs, AC Rigs plus H&P Flex 1,2,3,4,&5 .I have worked with large Operators, in positions as a Driller, Rig Manager and Drilling Superintendent for Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Oxy, BHP, Shell, Total Fina, Marathon, Anadarko just to name a few and also smaller Operators, and turn key jobs . I have personally drilled Wells, Managed drilling crews and managed up to 5 Drilling Rigs in the following basins/plays,Wolfcamp, Barnett, Lobo,Travis Peak, Haynesville, Bone Springs, Upper/Lower Midland Basin, Eagleford, Austin Chalk, Pearsall and Managed 3 Drilling Rigs in Reynosa Mexico for Pemex.I have experience in multiple types of drilling fluids ( OBM,SBM, Polymers, Gel and Brine), bottom hole assemblies. (LWD, PWD, MWD, Conventional, Pendulum, Packed Hole Assemblies,) closed loop systems with haul off and mud farming.

I have been IADC Well Control certified for the last 20 years, and I am currently certified in IADC WellSharp as of 8-2018 until 8-2020. I am a dedicated Leader and my teams and I have achieved numerous footage and Safety records in all the areas/formations mentioned above while Drilling underbalanced in severely depleted zones plus air Drilling. I am a dependable Skilled Manager bringing my people person skills along with my management experience with willingness to take on added responsibility. As a Drilling Supt with Helmerich and Payne IDC  I achieved 3 years 9 months and 22 days with No Oshas in 3 different Divisions managing up to 5 Drilling Rigs at any given time with over a million of man hours. This is the longest known record in the Drilling Industry for a Drilling Supt to achieve. 

I was the top bonus awarded Drilling Supt for Safety, Materials/Supplies Cost, Rigs Performance and Customer Relations for  5 years in a row in 3 different Divisions

I achieved multiple 1 year No Osha awards as a Driller, Rig Manager and a Drilling Supt.

My teams and I have set and broken multiple footage records in different basins/plays in South Tx, East Tx, West Tx, North Tx, LA, New Mexico as Driller/Rig Manager and Drilling Supt. in Air Drilling, underbalanced OBM drilling, through depleted zones.

  Led daily safety audits to monitor employee behavior and ensure safe compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Supervised teams of 80 staff members on a daily basis for 8 years as a Drilling Supt.

Currently  certified in IADC WellSharp as of 8-2018 and good until 8-2020. I also am certified in Aerial lift/Forklift, H2s and a Safe Gulf PEC Card
I have been certified in every HSE course known to the Drilling Industry for the past 20 years.
