Marcel Dancy

I’m a professional athlete, still in pursuit of continuing my football career. Along with that, I have a non-profit foundation, called the Marcel Dancy foundation. That foundation is focused on our communities most valuable assets, our children, and the generations that will follow. Our goal is to provide them with the resources needed to help them along their way. To assist them in creating a pathway towards becoming responsible and productive citizens in our communities.

It’s vital that we give our young men and women the positive support needed to obtain these goals. We do this by instilling in them the power of self-confidence so they will have the ability to deal with adversity on their rise towards achieving their dreams.

The essence of our “Each One, Teach One” philosophy is to pass our wisdom and positive energy to our younger generation so they may obtain that information, apply it to their lives, and then pass it on.

This has been my mindset since a young child growing through life to where I am as a man today, and growing forward. I also am partnered with multiple organizations that has several annual projects for the youth and families throughout the year, coach Pop Warner football, and am a big brother/mentor for countless amounts of young men and women throughout the Bay Area and beyond it. As well as having a financial literacy company that teach both the west and east coast. Focused on giving access and exposure to children as young as the 3rd grade-high school to a multi-level program about finances, investment, property, and etc. As well as being partnered with a tutoring company that will give its access to those same groups of young people, to as far as we can expand our reach. Just having the desire to pass down, and create as many resources and doors of opportunity for as many young people as I can. So that they can have the least amount of limitation as possible throughout their journeys, to achieve and surpass their potential.
