Marcelo Ranzula

• I am Professor Marcelo Ranzula, an experienced and dedicated educator with a proven track record of excellence in teaching and research. Throughout my career, I have focused on promoting inclusion and diversity, believing that each student has a unique potential that should be nurtured and developed. I have experience working with deaf, hearing, and even deafblind children, youth, and adults in the use of tactile sign language.
• My native language is Brazilian Portuguese, followed by Brazilian Sign Language - Libras as a second language. Today, I am intermediate in American Sign Language - ASL and in Spanish, and I am a beginner learning English at the basic to intermediate level.
• I have been a teacher for 20 years. I have experience in early childhood education, education for young people and adults, and higher education. In addition to my experience as a teacher in educational and social projects.
• I am an immigrant teacher! As a teacher, I understand that we educators are also eternal learners. I believe that because I am still a learner of English, the ideal position for me would be as a support teacher to a main classroom teacher, where I can gradually learn and improve my English in the environment that I feel is my professional vocation.
