As a Supply System Analyst, my duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Providing the Command with quality supply management, stock control support to include the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems, operating procedures, and guidance papers, representing the Command at various meetings, developing training programs, and providing class instruction. Preparing briefing packages and providing briefings to higher management. Analyzing, developing, evaluating, and promoting improvements in the plans, policies, methods, procedures, inventory accountability, and reviewing physical inventory programs. Assists in the development of plans to control inventory. Performs special studies relating to the receipt, issue, storage, and control of stocks. Provides technical guidance and advice in clearing up supply and inventory discrepancies. Exercises management control program responsibility for IT inventory and storage facilities. Performs inspections and audits, and analyzes results to assure accuracy. Analyzes reports of problems. Researches automated files and system operating instructions to identify problem areas. Analyzes historical and current data to discern the cause and effect of system discrepancies and incompatibilities. Establishes system parameters to assure accurate and useful output. Initiates corrective actions to eliminate systemic deficiencies.
Develops storage and space utilization plans. Determines the organization and arrangement of stock, identifying high and low-usage items. Oversees a warehouse project team comprised of material handlers involved in handling major commodity or IT equipment items. Overseer of all equipment turn-ins with the Wholesale Responsibility Officer (WRO), Transportation Coordinators, Database Clerks, Inventory Logistics Specialists, and an LMP Analyst. Briefed and coordinated retrograde efforts with local units, and provided units with the status of work in progress in their ARMT Plans (Automated Reset Management Tool) for organizational material necessary to refurbish the unit’s equipment to that of the 10/20 military standard within 180 days or less of redeployment. Executed program planning to determine funding priorities for supply program operations for a major command in a foreign geographic location.
Tracked all shipments leaving the theater to ensure that they are delivered to the Source of Repair. I developed a working knowledge of SAP, which I utilized to conduct causative research for items in the Logistic Modernization Program (LMP) that needed disposition.
Responsible for understanding system functionality and business capabilities related to planning. Recommends changes in how the process is executed, including system changes, other process improvements, and assists Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) end users, capturing any problems encountered by EBS end users. Acts as a focal point for gathering suggested improvements for their process. Tracked all CECOM equipment in LIW (Logistic Information Warehouse) to ensure that it did not go over the seventy-two-hour metric. Attended all Surface Deployment Distribution Center (SDDC) meetings with the Air Force Commander and staff for all equipment leaving OCONUS, going to CONUS. Conducted all of the mandatory training for all employees to utilize the LRC Reset and Retrograde Database, Logistic Information Warehouse - RPA, WEBLIDB, TPE, NEL, PBUSE, ETM, My Reset Plans, in (LIW), MENS-E, FEDLOG, RF-ITV.
Trained personnel on shipping and receiving processes for CECOM. As an Inventory Logistic Specialist, I processed all CECOM-level sources of supply, B16 unit-level equipment, which consisted of Theatre Provided Equipment (TPE), Depot Level Repair (DLR) items, and organizational equipment that consists of Automated Reset Induction (ARI) and Intensely Managed Items (IMI) with units or organizations presently in theatre preparing to redeploy back to home station.
Conducted a joint inventory with the Wholesale Responsibility Officer (WRO) and the subject matter expert (SME) to ensure the accuracy and accountability of equipment listed on a DD Form 1348 and DD Form 2062 (Shortage Annex/Hand Receipt), and proper memorandums. Responsibilities as Transportation Coordinator included shipping over $400 million of CECOM equipment back to the United States. I also prepared shipping documents, which included DD Form 1149, DD Form 1750, Transportation Control and Movement Documents (TCMD), Military Shipping Labels (MSL), for all (IMI) Intensively Managed Items, (ARI) Automatic RESET Items, and Theatre Property Equipment (TPE). Assist units with the proper means of shipment through TMO (Transportation Movement Office) and the Arrival, Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG). Verify the weights, center balance, and dimensions of the equipment designated for Unit Line Movements (ULN). Burn Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags for Class II, VII, and IX assets.
