I have manage patients with NG and PEG tubes which include assessment, site care, and feedings Chest tubes which includes site care, proper dressings in case of accidental removal, monitoring output, assessment for patency and patient condition Cardiac patients monitor patients for any physical changes, telemetry changes, and accurate intake and Output monitoring Orthopedic patients who need pain management, neurovascular checks, mobility, assistance with ADLs, pin site care on patients who have ex-fix Gynecology patients which include patients who have had hysterectomy and menorrhagia IV Therapy such as antibiotic therapy and blood transfusion GI patients which many times include patients with ulcers due to alcohol intake, and patients who have a hernia Seizure patients which need frequent neurologic checks. I also worked in Trauma ICU which entails working with EVD drains, ICP monitoring, and patients having traumatic brain injury. I have worked on Neuro Floor and MICU.
