  • In addition to teaching Biblical Survey, my current roles include Leap Teacher, Department Chair, NHS faculty sponsor and co-leader of Hyde Park’s Puerto Rico GOweek team
  • I have also served in many other various roles over the seventeen years I have worked for Hyde Park including: co-leader for Hyde Park’s Uganda and Rwanda GoWeek teams, aiding the Spiritual Life Director with GOweek administrative tasks, study hall teacher, high school receptionist for part of the summer months, 6th grade English teacher, 6th & 7th grade math teacher, pre-algebra teacher, NJHS Faculty Sponsor, and 6th grade teacher representative for the faculty council
  • In addition, and while at the Bannockburn campus of Hyde Park, I served as a 4th grade self-contained teacher, LEAP Coordinator and Admissions Coordinator
  • As a current classroom Bible teacher, I am responsible for classroom planning, instruction and management as well as partnering with students, parents, school counselors and administrators for student success
  • As Bible Department Chair, I am responsible for leading the Bible team with school communication, encouragement and help wherever needed as well as I am responsible for helping with vertical alignment between the middle school and high school Bible departments
  • While teaching in the pandemic, I learned to master teaching solely online via Zoom as well as move to a hybrid teaching scenario of online (via Zoom) and in-person teaching
  • While teaching math and English, I was responsible for instruction of the TEKS as well as administering the Stanford Achievement Test, the ERB Test and the Aspire Test
