In this particular company it’s a retail & housing building

There is apartments & we are dealing with Cast iron for both waste & vent system

We are doing PEX for water

In some occasions I’m in charge of running the steel gas pipe with mega press

Condensations, doing them pro-press

Testing cast iron pipes with water

& reading the spools so I can put together the units

In this particular company, we did a lot of prefab, my foreman would give me a spool & I would run no hub cast iron storm drains, 4 & 6 inch

I was also running water mains all over head, hung with all thread & felted loop hangers

We had to solder all joints & test for any leaks

Did seismic brazing as well, roughed in the bathrooms at Orange Coast College for the Chemistry Building

I also dealt with Acid waste green pipe, where we would use a device to shock the pipe to its proper heat & fuse it

Continental Plumbing was a lot of site work

But also lots of rough in, dealing with cast iron pipes, running water to LAVs, drinking fountains

Most of my site work was for playgrounds

Dealt with SDR pipe 8inch 6inch

4 inch pipes had to burrito wrap them with a black cloth & fill with gravel

Ran lots of gas, butt fusion

Baldwin was another great company, in this particular company we did many Hospitals

Cedars Sanai, Hoag Hospital, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Garden Grove Hospital, along with new construction & TI work

In this particular company, we dealt with a lot of OSH-POT, running cast iron suspended up in the air with all thread & hangars, I also did lots of water, copper, soldering, seismic bracing,

Along with setting grease interceptors

A lot of SDR pipe, site work

Rough in, Set finish & even to some service & repair

Also did lots of CPVC, ABS, PVC pipes

When we had to do rough in

Andersen was a great company, where I mostly learned all of my plumbing skills

Started off as an apprentice but slowly they taught me how to run cast iron, how to solder copper pipe, pipes varied from 1/2 - 2 1/2 copper pipes

Underground, site work, overhead

Also set some grease interceptors

All area Plumbing was & is a company that merged into ACCO

At this job, I was the person doing the dirty work, I was the one catching cores, taking material to all journeyman & other plumbers

Also tested waste with water & copper lines with air

I was also the one to dig out trenches
