  • Deployed to a combat zone in Syria for 9 months, performed duties such as vehicle searches along with coalition forces, local/ civilian personnel searches entering base.
  • Experienced gunner, driver of MAT-V/ MAX PRO and dismount.
  • Provided security with 1 other Battle Buddy for out station, consecutively for 12 -8 hour shifts which included hourly radio checks, maintaining equipment such as different types of weapons.
  • More than 80 Unannounced attacks from Enemy Forces. Including drones,rockets,explosives. Throughout any time during the day and night, where we had 12 seconds to get to a bunker. Afterwards, having to get dressed if not, Firearms ready, trucks ready making sure they work along with communication checks before proceeding to then being able to go top the point of origin, point of impact.
  • 2 consecutive weeks Patrolling every week for 2-3 days a week could be up too 8 hours or more. The tasks done during different types of missions consisted of reconciles with coalition forces, night/ day operations, making presence known to locals/civilians around the area, clearing up to 20 buildings to locate rockets, or enemy forces shooting rockets towards us.
  • Assisting friendly forces to recover stuck, non-working vehicles.
  • Conducted training exercises to ensure proficiency in basic infantry skills.
  • Collected intelligence information from local sources.
  • Utilized night vision devices to monitor activity at night.
  • Maintained accountability of assigned personnel, weapons, equipment and supplies.
  • Trained continuously on weaponry, tactics and maneuvers to maintain mission readiness.
  • Operated successfully under wide range of lighting, weather and stress conditions to complete missions.
  • Assisted with the maintenance of weapons, equipment and vehicles.
  • Maintained physical readiness for any situation.
