I took the opportunity to start my career with Sanchez Oil & Gas to establish knowledge with a production company as a supervisor/manager. I have been able to accomplish all my goals that i have set and manage KPI's. Safety has been my 1st focus and have shared with my employees and contractors.

Responsibilities:

• To interpret, plan, organize, execute, coordinate, and track progress of Automation and Electrical duties
• Provide expert judgment and analysis of design, development, and implementation of products or equipment along with processes and procedures for company efficiency productivity
• Interact with vendors to foster a relationship to better our business, working towards cost reductions and increased service quality
• Plan projects and monitor the work of all technicians within in the department and hold them to a high standard for quality and efficiency
• Strive for and promote a safe work environment by preaching safety and providing support in any issues that may cause any incidents due to lack of knowledge or misunderstanding task priority
• Track expenses daily and accurately to ensure proper use of budget
• Develop RCA (Root Cause Analysis) mentality in order to have closure on tickets from recurring
• Develop KPI's to track safety, team performance/production, and cost reductions

I was transferred to Cypress (TIR) by Sanchez Oil and Gas as a direct contractor to be a Automation/Measurement Lead. My position was to lead the technicians below me and provide them with the knowledge on how to maintain instrumentation equipment safely and understand the potential hazards accosiate with all equipment onsite.

I took the opportunity to work for Flow Data to be a contractor for Sanchez Oil & Gas, I was offered the position of Sr Automation Tech and was responsible for programming and configuring new RTU's or PLC's. I also maintain all existing equipment that was previously installed by Shell.

Key Accomplishments:

• Built controls system for Central Boost Facility to uplift production with compression to unload wells
• Built Salt Water Disposal (SWD) Electrical and Controls system
• Maintained Electrical Substation
• Built compressor controls for gas lift compressor project with 3 stage injection valves

Started my career in Automation with E.M.S by servicing major companies in installation of instrumentation and programming. Some of the major oil & gas companies that we serviced were, Anadarko, Shell, Murphy, Enterprise, Chesapeake, Laredo Energy, Escondido, ETC, Kinder Morgan, Sanchez Oil & Gas, Carrizo Oil & Gas, Ext.

• Learned process controls equipment
• Learned to read wiring diagrams (ISOS)
• Learned installation process
• Learned how to configure and program RTU and PLC's
• Learned Communications and SCADA interphase
• Promoted to Field Project Manager for Chesapeake

This was my first position in the production field, I took the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the process flow. I started by installing mechanical equipment and controls. I learned the basics of how production was processed and distributed for sales.

• Installed flow metering devices and assisted technician with configuration and calibrations

This was my first job in the oil and gas industry, I was hired as a floorhand on a work over rig. Though my time with the company, I was promoted to derek hand and rig operator. I learned safety was important and discipline was key.
