• Provided crucial in-person interpretation services to Unaccompanied Minors within the Health and Human Services (HHS) system, specifically at an ORR out-of-network facility housing minors requiring high security measures.
• Successfully supported a high rate of successful discharges, facilitating communication and reunification between minors, sponsors, and ORR officials.
• Worked with minors from diverse nationalities, navigating complex situations under high-pressure and demanding environments.
• Successfully completed all required ORR trainings for working with unaccompanied minors.

• I created a Q'anjob'al Language Verification Test. To do this, I recorded myself speaking in native, fluent Q'anjob'al. Speaking 25 and more short sentences, wrote out an answer key of what I was speaking, following proper grammar and punctuation rules in Q'anjob'al.
• Audio Quality Control. Determined hundreds of audio, and video recordings being spoken in the targeted language Q'anjoba'l.
• Q'anjoba'l Language Verification Test Review. This is an as-needed task. When a Q'anjob'al transcribing project comes in, the company needs to hire transcribers, and a potential transcriber applies to the company, they will send me the language verification test that I created. I will review their tests for quality, and accuracy and determine if they would be a good addition to the company.

Translation of documents to be presented at U.S. Embassy in Guatemala for traveling purpose.

Volunteer to translate from Q'anjoba'l to English during medical check for kids in Huehuetenango provided by Rotary's of St. Louis MO. This was a visit of 2 weeks.. 20 Doctors were on-site.

• Attended Interview meetings to provide accurate consecutive translations of conversations between members
• Conferred with subject matter experts and other colleagues to establish precise understanding of specialized concepts and translate appropriately
• Provided oral translations and interpretations for all clients during interviews and emergency events, successfully maintaining pace with native speakers to deliver real-time comprehension
• Facilitated communication between law enforcement personnel and individuals involved in crimes such as witnesses, persons of interest and suspects.
