My Job as a lifeguard attendant was to keep everyone in and around the pool and facility safe and organized. When I wasn't on stand watching attendants, I also had to provide customer service for people who had questions frequently. I was also trained to provide first aid and to offer individuals CPR if need be, and also to be able to control a situation of those in distress. Another important part of my job was to pack away all of the equipment at the end of the day and to be sure the area looked the same as when we came in.

• Attentively monitored swimmers to identify distress.
