I was with GMS mine repair for 7 months when I got the promotion to lead man , I’m very hard working always willing to pick up more hours if needed I came here to work so that Is exactly what I will do , I’ve proved my worth to the last 2 companies I have worked for and managed to work my self to lead man/ foreman positions

The job we do is pretty much millwright work
We do anything from structural welding to setting in new pumps repairing pumps , we do a lot of repairs and patches in the structures and around the plant sometimes on running equipment or non running equipment, as a lead man I am expected to keep a safe work environment for all my guys and my self. We use equipment such as tali handlers , manlifts , fork lifts etc which I do have my 5023 training on. We weld a lot of floor plate which is pretty long welds and have to ensure that with the plant running and vibrating the welds do not break and hold strong. We do use blueprints which I am able to read
6g pipe certification from 2” - 6” pipe
Structural certification
Both for stick welding , I can tig weld in all positions just not certified
