Resourceful and motivated Registered Nurse for 12 years. I have worked in various clinical settings, from inpatient medical surgical clients to outpatient specialty settings like hemodialysis. My strength within the healthcare population is the management of adult chronic conditions, in which I have a vast knowledge base of primary, secondary, and tertiary interventions to help the client and care team achieve the desired outcome. Management of the pediatric population was a weakness and stressor that was presented during my journey to obtain my FNP. Still, I strategically planned and received clinical site placement at Nationwide Children's Hospital and County Drive Inn Medical Practice, a standalone practice in rural Ohio, to increase my encounters and exposure to managing pediatric health conditions. My ability to speak Spanish has significantly impacted my future goals, and I am currently enrolled in a Spanish immersion course to help strengthen and maintain my ability to communicate with the Spanish-speaking population.

I am fascinated with the Spanish language; I am currently enrolled in a Spanish immersion course because I need to interact more with the Hispanic community to maintain my ability to communicate effectively. I enjoy going to the dollar store frequently, and even though I do not purchase an item with each visit, I have become accustomed to window shopping. Lastly, I plan to work in the healthcare setting as a provider who can manage acute and chronic conditions and teach upcoming students about nursing concepts. I plan to have a doctorate in nursing within the next five years. My passion is understanding how to elicit change. I am aware of current interventions and studies. Still, due to the dynamics of the current world perspective, there must be more effort in assisting people with physical and spiritual change behaviors.
