Summary
My name is Marcus Pierce, Jr. I was born in Portsmouth, Virginia and reared in Dallas, Texas. I have played football in Divisions I, II, and III. Utilizing grit, determination, and resilience, I have persevered on the field and in the classroom. As a result, I understand that physical talent alone is not enough. It is imperative that I remain focused to reach my intended goals. Thus, my success is based on my actions. Invajy states, “The doors or success opens through the walls of hard work, dedication and perseverance.” My path to success is an endless journey, riddled with rugged paths and steep hills, yet I possess the fortitude to continue climbing.
