Responsible for the process of creating high quality meat product using GMP, HACCP, USDA guidelines to ensure the safest and most consistent quality product. Managed polices and procedures with state and local codes to keep up with changing regulations.

Responsible for overseeing packaging, shipping and receiving to ensure tight daily production deadlines were met.

One day a week I am an instructor for the MBA program teaching all aspects of the meat industry. I focus on business and computer skill as well as technical capabilities, leadership, interpersonal skills, sanitation and safety.

Engaging the students in a real work-world setting is critical. We also practice decision making, customer relations behavior, what a strong work ethic looks like as well as how to work well as part of a team.

• Maintained daily, legible DOT log book and submitted corresponding documents.
• Maintained a clean driving record while adhering to company policies and federal regulations for transportation safety.
• Demonstrated safe driving by following regulations and safety procedures, resulting in zero accidents.
• Increased safety standards by conducting thorough pre-and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
• Successfully driven truck and trailer, transfer, 53 foot live floor and five months as a mixer driver.
