Job Description

Successfully manages a caseload of 60+, providing direct speech therapy to individuals with intellectual/developmental delays, learning disabilities, medical diagnoses, behavioral disorders, and autism. Develops instructional materials/lessons; conducting speech therapy sessions in and outside of classroom setting. Assist with screenings, assessments, and testing of students. Creation and implementation of treatment plans and IEP goals, completes case notes/data, medical billing Works in conjunction with other educational/medical professionals (OT, PT, ABA therapists, Psychologists, RNs etc.) to develop individual treatment plans based on the student’s needs. Attend team meetings, and train staff and teachers on the proper implementation of IEP goals and programs. Perform home visits (May Institute) to residential living facilities to ensure treatment and educational plans were being met in the home setting.
