Criminals in the Classroom, 2023, I was in the team of community outreach for Criminals in the Classroom, a social media campaign by UWF to discourage teenagers in Escambia County from crime. My responsibility was to interview teenagers at Juvenile Hall and in our local high schools about their experiences and issues. I learned how to actively listen to these important perspectives in order to increase account engagement. I was part of the team that presented our campaign to the Dean of the university, head of my department, and Escambia County’s Teen Court judge. The judge gave my performance a 120 out of 100.
Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Rescue, 2022, This organization seeks to educate locals and tourists about Northwest Florida’s wildlife and rehabilitate wounded sea turtles. I was in the team of brand awareness for this nonprofit. My team and I designed graphics, analyzed content engagement, and generated social media posts and ideas for the campaign.
