As a winner of the Posse Leadership Scholarship, I was chosen after three intense rounds of interviews, where my team collaboration, leadership skills, communication skills, and academic achievements were all put to the test. I was chosen to be a Posse Scholar at Lewis & Clark College out of the hundreds of student applicants in the Washington D.C. area. The objective of Posse is to promote student leaders on college campuses. As such, me and my fellow Posse-members strive to become local leaders throughout the Lewis & Clark and surrounding Portland community. We hold weekly discussions on controversial subjects, and strive to create a more welcoming, diverse environment on campus.
