I have been an altar server at my local parish for almost eight years. As an altar server, I assist the priest and deacon during mass. I altar serve almost every week, and fill in whenever I am needed.


Church Choir, 2015 - April 2023

I have been a member of the music ministry at my local parish for nine years. I would regularly sing as a psalmist and song leader, helping to lead the other members in choir.


Church Pianist, May 2023 - Current

St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Parish - Fallbrook, CA

I play Sunday Mass once a month at my local parish and on days when other musicians are unavailable. Being the pianist puts me in charge of the choir that sings with me, as well as the other musicians. My duties include selecting the music for masses, leading the other members of the choir and assigning them roles, organizing practices, directing the other musicians, making sure the choir is prepared with the music and answering any questions or concerns they might have, and coordinating with our pastor and parish office about any special events.


Pro Kids, First Tee, 2014 - Current

I have played golf and been a member of the Pro Kids Golf Organization for nine years. I have learned much about how to play golf and its rules, and have had the opportunity to meet many prominent golfers. I have also participated in the organization's end of the month golf tournaments and the PGA Jr. League, and am currently a junior member of the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA).


Pro Kids Academy, 2020 - Current

I joined Pro Kids Academy in 9th grade. Since then, I have received instruction in important life skills, in everything from job interviews to cooking. I have also participated in several college prep workshops and have had several opportunities to visit universities.


Kumon Math and Reading Program, 2012 - Current

I have been attending the Kumon Math and Reading Program for about eleven years now. I have completed the Reading program and am currently on one of the highest levels of the Math program. I have found Kumon to be extremely effective in my academic development. I was able to skip 3rd grade and take advanced math courses throughout elementary middle school, and high school.


Piano, 2013 - Current

I have had a classical education in piano music for ten years. Throughout this time, I have competed in many piano competitions, performed in talent shows, participated in about twenty piano recitals, and annually audition to be a member of the National Piano Guild (a division of the American College of Musicians).


Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair's Student Leadership Board, 2020 - 2022

I was a member of the GSDSEF Student Leadership Board and the SLB Outreach Committee for two years. This role included mentoring students competing in the annual science fair, leading workshops for science fair first-timers, and preparing for the next fair.


Accomplishments

  • Won numerous awards across multiple piano competitions
