  • Teaching Mentor: I hosted a Stanford teaching resident in my classroom for the 2022-2023 school year. I coached the resident in classroom management, curriculum writing, assessment, and reflection.
  • Program Enhancement: I collaborated with program directors to improve the resident experience and ensure the Stanford curriculum met the needs of the San Francisco context.
  • Collaboration: As my resident teacher became more experienced, I took a step back to allow her to make mistakes and learn from them. I also let her direct the ideas for our lessons and helped her implement those ideas.
