Chart review and data abstraction for all Cardiothoracic surgeries performed by six surgeons. Measuring Quality metrics for surgical, ICU and out-patient results, both pre-op and post-op. Presenting outcome reports to Senior Administration at Cabinet Meetings regularly.

Facilitating the safe transition of Emergency Department patients awaiting full admission to the floor. Admission assessments, with care and treatment coordination and education while on unit. Discharge Teaching.

Acute care of Hospice, Chemotherapy/Hematology/BMT patients. Both paper and electronic charting, working with Medical Residents regularly. Monitoring, assessment and prioritizing care of the post-surgical patient (GYN, Urology and Neurology).
