- I manage scheduling lessons throughout the week, rotating horses in use, assigning students to horses for lessons, and deciding what the lessons will cover each week.
- My title means I have to be a communicator with students and potential parents about expectations while at the barn, where they wish their progress to go, and if they would like to change the current riding program they are in to better fit their needs.
- We also run trail rides, which I lead. During these rides, I offer advanced knowledge of the surrounding areas and the trails we are on.

- I worked a 40-hour internship at the ODNR Fish Management over the summer, where I helped with Catfish studies. I was expected to help load boats, collect samples, process samples, and assist with logging the information.
- In addition to this, I also helped spray for invasive aquatic plants around boat ramps, and added information to the database about the location of said invasive plants.
- During this internship, I learned to quickly adapt to many different situations, as not all our collection sites were the same, the collection processes varied, and the people I worked with changed. I learned to ask questions, be comfortable with getting my hands dirty, and hold on for dear life when some people were driving the boat.
