Margo Mumm

LPN student with 5 years of nursing home experience, working as a CNA/TMA (trained medication assistant). I am very passionate about helping others. Providing kindness and loving respect is key in delivering patients/residents with the best possible care.

• In 2019, I attended 4-H Leadership Washington Focus in Washington DC. While at the event I met members from throughout the United States and abroad. One program was a “night of culture”, were multiple nationalities showcased foods from their country.
• Working at the Leach Home, I recently cared for a resident that was Hindu. The resident did not speak English and had limited connection with family. It was challenging to meet her needs and assist dietary in finding her food preferences.

4-H, I was involved in 4-H for 10 years, as a member we would serve the community at different events. Our club wrote an annual grant that allowed us to buy garden supplies. Members then cared for the garden located at my parent’s farm, harvested, and delivered produce to the Richland/Wilkin Food Pantry. Some other events included: Ruby’s Pantry, Zoo Boo, and running county 4-H events. I also volunteered 20 hours at the Richland County Food panty during nursing school and attempt to volunteer when I am able.
