“Being a part of the organization that has been such an integral piece of our lives for so long would be an incredible opportunity. Heartwood teachers, paras, and staff have been a constant in my granddaughter’s life that we have always been able to depend on. Although I have never been a paraprofessional within school walls, once my granddaughter entered this world, I learned more patience, grace, and acceptance than I knew possible. I’d love the opportunity to provide the same safe space to other children, adults, and growing humans that others have given us.”
