  • I learned how to stop accidents before they happen and make the pool area as safe as possible.
  • I also gained a very strong work ethic, because I worked from open to close, 6 days a week.

  • During the peak of Covid I Gate Guarded at my local pool area. As a Gate Guard I had to make sure all the safety precautions were in order.
  • I had to make sure that everyone was wearing a mask, that the amount of people in the pool area was correct, and ask each person who entered a variety of health and safety questions.
  • I developed new skills, like being able to explain rules to someone in a nice, but stern way.
  • I learned to constantly monitor the area for possible safety hazards, which will help me in the future.
