  • I started as a receptionist greeting over 200 patients per day. Duties included but not limited to check in and our patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting co-payments, scheduling interpreters, answering phones including operator line, directing patients to the corresponding clinic. One year later I transferred to Special Care Coordinator. To work on our new clinic, High Risk Infant Clinic. Receiving external referrals from hospital for infants that were in the NICU or considered high risk. Verified coverage and submitted prior authorization. Sent out referrals when needed.
