I have been working for rue 21 for the past 4 months now and it has been a success. It has been a wonderful experience. I learn more and more everyday, it has totally change my way of viewing things. Not only has it gave me the opportunity to overcome my objectives, but overall I have improved myself working with the rest associate's. I learned how to get things done as a whole group to how to handle/manage unexpected situations and most important how to make the best out of my job, positive attitude is everything.
In order to have a successful day at work you have to be able to encourage others at all times and make everybody feel comfortable and have the best customer service at all times so they can come back and that's how you pull a customer's next visit. They will soon become loyal customers with all the great attention we give them as soon as they walk in, so they will always want to shop with us making the other stores (our competitors) weak. Being able to show others how to manage their time and achieve the goal set for the day is very important, so the manager must always talk with confidence and direction.I have been a sales associate. Including one of the main things I do in this job is be on cashier and trying to encourage every customer to take a as many fragrances we have, also helping customers achieving the goal of getting great outfit for all types of occasions. I make sure the store is the best place to shop. All customers must feel comfortable when shopping in rue 21. Multitasking and speed is very important in this position. I feel like I've made a lot of changes in this company within the last 4 months.
