Microbiology area

Processing of biological samples for uroanalysis and parasitological. Primary seeding for urine culture, stool culture, secretions and fungi

Blood bank area

Receive & verity transfusion requests.Perform immunohematological tests: determination of blood group and factor Rh d/ Du, direct and indirect coombs following the quality protocols of the laboratory. Create reports. Develop the correct autoclaving of the material following the laboratory's biosafety instructions.

Apply the techniques for blood extraction in ER (emergency room). Analyze biological samples for the different areas: hematology, biochemistry and microbiology (parasitological and uroanalysis). Performed testing and quality control using approved laboratory procedures and instrumentation.
