During quarantine I had a lot of flextime, I have always loved flowers and with some time in my hands I decided to pick up the shovel and decorate our front yard. It was a little difficult at first because I always kept watering the flowers too much and they died often, it was tedious work but it payed off. I often find gardening to be a relaxing pass time on my days off. Not only do I find solace in my makeshift garden but I also have a wonderful yard for others to appreciate.
Cooking is a different story. I was never the best at cooking but it had to be done in order to feed my family. I never liked eating out as it seemed unsafe and unhealthy to me. I honed my skills in the kitchen in the months that we were locked away, now I enjoy it a hundreds of times over. I can practically make any dish my family asks for. With that we hardly buy anything outside as we have great meals at home.
