• Manage high-acuity orthopaedic trauma patients in inpatient and outpatient settings at a Level 1 trauma center
• First surgical assist in the operating room for orthopaedic trauma procedures including ORIF, external fixation, irrigation and debridement, and emergent fracture stabilization
• Conduct daily inpatient rounds, managing post-operative care, pain control, anticoagulation, wound management, and discharge planning
•Evaluate and follow patients in orthopaedic trauma clinic, by performing comprehensive histories and physicals, providing pre- and post-operative follow-up, and interpreting diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI)
• Perform bedside and clinic procedures including splinting, casting, wound care, and suture/staple removal
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document care efficiently in Epic EMR to ensure safe, compliant patient care
