I am a qualified leader with experience in maintaining a positive school climate by developing relationships with students, staff, parents, and community members. My decision-making process is student-driven because I strongly believe that each and every student should have access to the best educational opportunities, despite their socio-economic background. I am passionate about equity, social justice, and inclusion, and I value culturally responsive pedagogical practices and social-emotional learning. I seek an opportunity to apply and expand my knowledge of alternative education, as it was the research topic of my dissertation.
