Outside of work life I thoroughly enjoy a variety of hobbies, including solving puzzles, making all of the "things" and tending to my plants. I value the quality time I get to spend with my family and close friends, while seeking to balance professional commitments with personal joys. Music gets me through the day.

The Why

I pride myself on the fact that everything I have learned and built for myself within this field I have learned while working closely with the Attorneys in the Firm. I grew up in this office. I learned by experiencing practical on the job situations coupled with my own research applications in order to further my understanding of the rules of civil procedure. I learn best by doing. I can do anything through explicit instruction and a forum appropriate for asking questions and working through scenarios individually before coming together for revisions and further instructions.

I have had the privilege of working alongside the Attorneys on a number of Court cases ranging from Death Benefits, to Mandamus. I have really grown to enjoy this work and feel that my intuition and ability to read people makes me an asset when sussing out those trying to abuse the systems and operations within the confines of the Workers' Compensation program. I am really enthusiastic about the discovery process - it is probably my favorite part of a court case. Being such a visual person has enhanced my ability for proficient document organization and management. I want to continue to learn and grow through my work experiences alongside the attorneys.
